After a speed networking session Martha spoke about the importance of content. These days everybody is a publisher which make good content and a good story essential across all media platforms be it print or digital. It’s the personal aspect of every story and keeping it simple that establishes an instant connection between you and the reader.

Martha highlighted the importance of images, as everybody is busy and trying to stay on top of news and updates, there is not much time left to read through lengths of text something that can be summarised by visuals and informative graphics and videos which Storylab themselves have showcased. Check out their story below.

Next up was Victor del Rosal, who spoke about Career Paths to the Future and how significant emerging technologies (EmTech) will be in future job opportunities. TV shows like Star Trek had science fiction devices of which many are now a reality. Check out this great article by Mashable, 8 Star Trek Gadgets That Are No Longer Fiction.

Artificial Intelligence and autonomous cars are very much at the point of breakthrough and we are well used to voice control, tablet computers and 3D printing. Modern science and ever evolving technologies enable us to develop super-materials like Graphene and allows scientists to work on potentially lifesaving Bioprinting. As you can see, the sky is the limit and there is always something to invent or improve, which in turn opens constant job opportunities.
