Sligo Tech meetup is a new meetup aimed at connecting Sligo’s technology community, the people who are making Sligo’s tech scene what it is and those who are interested in keeping up-to-date. It will highlight what’s going on across the North West. The goal is to share best practices and lessons learned. Promoting Sligo as a destination for technology companies, start-ups & other innovators. If you’re a technology professional or enthusiast, and live in or around Sligo, we want you to join our meetup.
The event will feature two speakers to present for 10 minutes as well as business networking. The first speaker will be Sligo entrepreneur Niall O’Connor from Sonorplex describing the company Niall said “SonorPlex is dedicated to the development of next generation interactive tools for conference delegates. Our vision is for a unified platform which connects delegates with a personalised content experience and supports a more responsive interaction with presentations.” Aidan Finn a Sligo based programmer who has been involved with various startups will present on his work including the Clojure programming language.
