QR Codes provide physical world links from physical world objects to both offline data and online services, websites and data - taking away the need for remembering or typing web addresses, phone numbers, contact details into your phone etc.

Examples of QR Codes:
- Text - displays predefined text to user
- Web Addresses / URLs - opens the specified web address in the phones browser
- Phone Numbers - calls a predefined number
- SMS Numbers - generate a pre-defined text / SMS message to a specific number
- Email Addresses - generate an Email to a specific Email Address
- Contact Details - instruct the phone to add the Contact details to the Address book via vCard or instruct the phone to download the Contact details via vCard (smaller QR Code needed than full Contact details)
